Trauma-Infromed Church Training

Trauma-Informed Church Training provides a scriptural basis for applying trauma-informed care in ministerial settings. Depending on organizational goals, choose from either the 1hr “Basic” or the 4hr “Deeper” training.

Both trainings introduce ministers to evidence based and evidence supported traumatology research from major contributors in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, physiology, medicine, and more. Training is recommended for any minister, clergy, or faith practitioner who serves vulnerable and marginalized populations including foster/adoption families, survivors of human trafficking, victims of violent crimes, veterans, and those suffering from addictions, mental illness, and grief.

Cost is listed per person and for groups. If your group exceeds the limit, per person cost will be applied for each additional person. Contact Jamie using the contact form or text 512-677-9102 for questions or to schedule a training.

1hr Basic: $150/person; $1500 up to 20 people

The 1hr Basic training provides an overview of the research of traumatology, how stress and trauma impact the brain, mind, and body, and how scripture affirms the science. Available for virtual or in-person training.

4hr Deeper: $250/person; $3000 up to 15 people

The 4hr Deeper training is a tailor made program that aims to assist ministers in developing a plan for trauma-informed care in their specific ministerial context. Participants receive a more in depth overview of the research of traumatology, how stress and trauma impact the brain, mind, and body, and how scripture affirms the science. Guided discussion and break-outs sessions enable ministers to develop their own trauma-informed strategic plan. Additional free 1hr follow-up consulting session available to leadership after training. In-person training only. Can be divided up into maximum of 4, 1hr length sessions.

Training and consulting fees are provided as an estimate. Contact Jamie if you need to discuss free or reduced cost options.
